Dr. Amod Kumar Rai is in 18th year of his service in Higher education. Starting his teaching career from a self-finance institute SKPG College, Kauriram, Gorakhpur, secondly in Govt Degree College Ateli, Haryana and thirdly now in Buddha Post Graduate College, Kushinagar, he has rendered a yeoman’s service in teaching. His academic career is bedecked and bejeweled with many distinctions sprawling over his career. Apart from being a Gold-Medalist, he has also topped UPHESC, U.P. He has published thirty research papers in National and International Journals and five books prior to this one on varied subjects. Participated and presented research papers in more than 35 National and International Conferences within the country and abroad. He has organized four National Conferences as organizing secretary and has organised a five days Inspire internship camp for students of secondary level. He is also an editor of an International Refereed journal of English Literature and language, Oasis. He is research associate at IIAS, Shimla. Besides he is also Vice-President of Gorakhpur University Affiliated College Teachers association and Secretary of DDU Gorakhpur Shaikshik Mahasangh Unit. He has been appointed as the Joint Secretary of EFSLE for its Uttar Pradesh East Region.
