Dr Shaista Irshad is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Iswar Saran PG College University of Allahabad along with an experience of many years of teaching at MNNIT Allahabad. Her specializations reflect the appealing confluence of art and science; Hindi, Urdu, English language and literature; poetry and prose writing; contemporary literature and Gender studies. She has taught B.Tech., M.tech, MBA and MCA students and currently teaching BA and MA students. She also has many papers and poems published in renowned journals (both national and international) and anthologies in all the three languages. She is also in the editorial board of reputed journals.
She is a lifetime member of EFSLE and also one of the Executive Council Members (ECM) for its Uttar Pradesh- Central Region.
