Dr Madhulika Tiwari is a Lecturer in a Govt. Intermediate College in Gorakhpur, U.P. Her Ph. D. topic was on “A Study of Their Own: A Study in Select Contemporary Rewritings of the Ramayana and the Mahabharata”. She is much interested in Indian writings in English, Hindi or Translation. Her areas of interest vary from Religion and Nature to Poetry & Poetics, from Gender, Sexuality and Ecology to Gender & Feminist Studies and Ecology, Literature and Human Rights.
She is a lifetime member of EFSLE and also she has been appointed as one of the Executive Council Members (ECM) for its West Bengal- South Region.
