Snow J. Sharmilla is a Research scholar in English at S. T. Hindu College, Nagercoil, affiliated to Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli (Tamil Nadu). She has completed BA in English (2014); MA in English (2016) and Pre-Doctoral Degree (M.Phil) in English (2017) from Holy Cross College, affiliated to Manonmaniam Sundaranar University and worked as an Assistant Professor in the same institution for a brief period of time. She has edited a poetry collection, Broken Words (2018) and is efficient and interested in teaching poetry. Her academic interests are literary theory and criticism, African Literature, and Culture Studies. Currently, she is pursuing her research based on ecocriticism and culture studies. She has been appointed as one of the Executive Council Members (ECM) of EFSLE for its Tamil Nadu Region.
