Rosmi Lukose is an Assistant Professor of English at Assumption College Autonomous Changanassery affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala. She teaches courses in British and Comparative Literature, Linguistics and also teaches English communication Skills to undergraduate students. She has previously taught Cambridge O Levels in Saudi Arabia, specialising in English Language Teaching. Her areas of research interest include ecocriticism, new materialism, material ecocriticism, animal and place studies, climate narratives, aboriginal litearature, narratology, cultural studies, and English Language Teaching. At present, she is a part time research scholar in MG University. Her research is focussed on Climate Change and literary narratives with special emphasis on New Materialism and Narratology. She is a mentor and teacher-trainer in language teaching, public speaking finds delight in honing the oratorial and debating skills of aspirants drawing on her expertise and experience in the field. She is actively involved in curriculum design, materials/module preparation and the quality improvement initiatives in her institution.
Rosmi is a lifetime member of EFSLE and also one of the Executive Council Members (ECM) of its Kerala-South Region.
