Dr. Bhagyashree Shrikishanji Varma, the faculty in English, University of Mumbai, is a Creative writer, professional editor, translator and trainer, in literary research. She has for last three decades been writing, delivering lectures and publishing on subjects as literature by Women in India and the World, Alternative Thinking, Gender theory, Translations from Indian Literature into English, Approaches in Comparative Research and Aesthetic Studies. Along with the experimental Eco-poetry in Marathi, Hindi and English, publications of Dr. Bhagyashree include books and presentations on writers as Amrita Pritam, Kamala Das, Jean Rhys, Mahashweta Devi, Taslima Nasreen, Meena Kandasamy and Deepti Naval. She is the Joint Secretary of EFSLE for Maharashtra region.
