Hemant Kumar Golapalli is currently working as an Assistant Professor of English in Vidyasagar University, Midnapore, Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal. He has also been pursuing his doctoral research at the Department of English, Pondicherry University, Puducherry. His research interests include Literature and Science, Philosophy of Science, Chaos and Complexity Theories and Environmental Apocalypse, European Literature, Literary theory, Western Philosophy, Film Aesthetics and Interdisciplinary Studies. He regularly conducts seminars in his Department on various topics. He also contributes regularly to reputed national and international academic journals.
He is a lifetime member of EFSLE and also an Executive Council Member (ECM) for its West Bengal -South Region.
