S. Snekha Sri is an Assistant Professor of English, Periyar University, Salem,TamilNadu. She teaches from 2010 and cleared SET in 2012. She trains the University Students for SET &NET exams. She is an acting coordinator of the Student Welfare Centre, Periyar University & affiliated colleges. Her research area in M.Phil is the power and voice of the female protagonists in Anita Desai’s Select Novels. Her area of specialization is feminism, eco feminism, Women Studies and young adults. She presented papers on research area in an International and National Conferences. Her research papers are published in the UGC approved journals. She organized two national workshops, a special lecture and an extension activity on trekking at Yercaud Hills. Salem, Tamil Nadu. She has been also appointed as one of the Coordinators of EFSLE from Tamil Nadu region.
