Dr Kaustubh N Misra is an Associate Professor in the department of Geography, Buddha Post Graduate College, Kushinagar (DDU Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur). He finds himself as a student of Indian Art/Culture/Literature & Philosophy (by Interest).
He is the Director (Hon.) of Bio-Diversity and Integrated Development, Gorakhpur, the Associate Editor (Hon.) of Bharatiya Dharohar, New Delhi and also the Secretary (Hon.) of Vidya Niwas Misra Shiksha Parishad, Gorakhpur.
He participates in NSS caps in the college unit. Actively involve thorough surveying for drought, flood and many others natural hazards around the Institution and any part of the country, where demanded through the NGO’s and others. Having deep fond of Cultural and sports activities and so evolves deeply during the programme.
He also shows his active involvement in corporate life to development of the different of the Institution and the every stakeholders of the Institution through the corporate bodies and through the Management of the Institution. It has been shown during the NAAC preparation, when he was the Coordinator.
Having good knowledge of Computing, Social Media, Internet Sources and Online services; he tries to develop the same type of efficiency in the students. Having Diploma in Computer Application and other behavioral knowledge of the same imparting very much of this knowledge based efficiency; he tries to promote diploma and other courses to the students related and allied branches of the discipline of Geography like- Diploma in GIS & Rs, Diploma in Tourism, Diploma in Hotel Management and Diploma in Rural Management etc.
He has presented several research papers in national and international seminars and many of his research papers have been published in different books and journals.
He is a lifetime member of EFSLE and also one of the Coordinators for its Uttar Pradesh- East Region.
