Sibani Gantayet is working as a Jr. Lecturer in English in Government Science College Chatrapur, Odisha. Currently she is pursuing her Ph.D. in Berhampur University. She is born and brought up in Rayagada, a small town in Odisha. Her area of research is Eco-Feminism. Post-Colonial studies in general and subaltern studies in particular are also her area of interest. She has published papers in journals like Re-Thinking Environment, IJEL and Literary Oracle. She is an environmental enthusiast concerned for the recurring environmental issues. She is one of the Coordinators of EFSE from Odisha region.
