A recipient of Gold Medal for her M.A. in English, Meenakshi is now a doctoral student in the Department of English and Foreign Languages, Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, Haryana. Apart from presenting a number of research papers in National and International Conferences; three of her research papers have been published in International journals whereas four have found place in national journals. One of her articles has been published by Pennsylvania State University, USA. Two of her papers have been published in edited books. With a rich experience of more than ten years of teaching the rural students of Haryana, she has been keenly involved in encouraging and helping rural girls in developing soft skills. Her areas of interest are Ecocriticism, Studies in Nature Writing, Ecology and Folk Literature.
She is a lifetime member of EFSLE and also she has been appointed as one of the Executive Council Members (ECM) for its Haryana Region.
