Pharmenash Ch. Marak is a Ph.D student in the Department of English, North-Eastern Hill University, Tura Campus, Meghalaya. He is currently writing his thesis on Ecocrtiticism. He has successfully qualified UGC NET&JRF in 2014. He has published two papers and presented few papers based on the topic of ecocriticism. His other research interest includes Ficto-criticism writings, Ecosophy, Eco-feminist studies and Tribal literature of India. Mr. Marak is also interested in studying environmental concerns in the oral literature of the Garo tribes of Meghalaya. He has been also appointed as one of the Coordinators of EFSLE for Meghalaya region.
