Dr. Shivani Vashist, Joint Secretary of EFSLE from Haryana, is working as Associate Professor at Manav Rachna International University, Faridabad. She has done her PhD in English literature from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. She has edited 02 anthologies and published a number of research papers in National and International journals. She guides students for their M Phil and PhD research. She has a fetish to study Indian Fiction. Apart from Indian Writing in English, her other interests are South Asian literature, fiction of all genres, and Women and Gender studies. She is a member of editorial board of 04 reputed National Journals. She was awarded Indira Gandhi Award for Excellence to Outstanding Men and Women for the year 2015.
