Dr. Asima Gogoi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Namrup College, Namrup, Assam, India. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh, Assam. Her research interests lie in environmental humanities and South Asian Literature. She has published several research articles in various national and international journals, including UGC-Care listed ones. In addition, she is the co-editor of four research-based books: Postcolonial Identities and Literary Imaginations (2019), Literary Voices from the Northeast (2023), Beyond the Binaries: Exploring Gender Across Disciplines (2023) and Interrogations: Exploring New Directions in Marginal Literatures (2024).
She is a lifetime member of EFSLE and also an Executive Council Member (ECM) of its Assam- East of Assam.
