Dr. Binu Singh is an Assistant Professor of English at National P.G. College, Lucknow, where she has been serving since July 2020. She holds a Ph.D. in English from Dr. R.M.L. Avadh University, Ayodhya, with her doctoral research focusing on Social and Political Concerns in the Novels of Manohar Malgonkar.
With over a decade of teaching experience across higher and secondary education, Dr. Singh has previously worked as an Assistant Lecturer and Assistant Teacher at reputed institutions in Uttar Pradesh. Her academic interests include Indian English fiction, feminism, trauma studies, and socio-political themes in literature.
Dr. Singh has authored a book on Manohar Malgonkar and has published research papers and book chapters in peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes. She is an approved Ph.D. supervisor (from the 2024–25 session) and has been actively supervising M.A. dissertations since 2021.
An active academic contributor, she has participated in and organized numerous seminars, conferences, faculty development programmes, and international language exchange initiatives. Dr. Singh is also involved in institutional responsibilities as a member of IQAC, Anti-Ragging Cell, and various academic committees. Her dedication to teaching, research, and academic administration reflects her commitment to higher education and literary scholarship.
She is a lifetime member of EFSLE and also an Executive Council Member (ECM) of its UP Central-South Region.
