Dr. Krishanu Maiti is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Sukumar Sengupta Mahavidyalaya, Keshpur, W.B. He wrote his doctoral thesis on the representation of animals in D. H.
Lawrence and Ted Hughes. His areas of interest include Animal Studies, Posthumanism and Environmental Humanities.
He has edited two books so far. Posthumanist Perspectives on Literary and Cultural Animals. Springer Nature, Switzerland AG.
and Global Perspectives on Eco-Aesthetics and Eco-Ethics: A Green Critique. Lexington Books, USA.
He is a member of The Ted Hughes Society, UK and The Gender & Sexuality Intersectional Research Collaborative (IRC) under ICAS.
He is also a lifetime member of EFSLE and is nominated as one of its Executive Council Members (ECM) for its West Bengal-South Region.
