Dr. Priya Sharma is currently serving as Assistant Professor of English at Cane Societies Nehru P.G. College, Hardoi. She holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of Lucknow, where she also completed her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees. A distinguished scholar, Dr. Sharma was awarded the Gold Medal at the University of Lucknow for her academic excellence.
Dr. Sharma has actively contributed to academic discourse through her presentations at numerous national and international conferences and seminars. Her scholarly work includes research papers published in reputed journals and chapters in various edited volumes. She has been invited as a speaker at academic conferences and seminars, and has appeared on Doordarshan to share her expertise in the field of English literature. She has also worked with eminent theatre artists and director such as Padmashree awarded Prof. Raj Bisaria and Lalit Singh Pokharia. Her area of expertise is Marginal Literature in English and translation.
She is a lifetime member of EFSLE and also an Executive Council Member (ECM) of its Central-South Region of Uttar Pradesh.
