Vagmita is a fourth-year undergraduate student studying English and Creative Writing with a minor in Media Studies at Ashoka University. Currently working on an undergraduate thesis on the vrat kathas as a form, her academic interests include comparative literature, literature in translation, folk literature, and gender and sexuality studies. As a poet and translator, she’s particularly interested in the themes of urbanity, spaces, and constraints.
She is a lifetime member of EFSLE and also an Executive Council Member (ECM) of its Central-South Region of Haryana.
